Plant-based food is here to stay and we plan on capitalizing on it’s skyrocketing trajectory by creating a super compelling, upbeat series that will generate tons of engagement.
American Vegan will have audiences reveling in the truly-amazing and often underrepresented stories of thriving and innovative chefs and their undeniably delicious creations.
We will accomplish this by utilizing our decades of non-fiction experience creating content for Travel Channel, Food Network and a wide-range of other media outlets, which have garnered millions of views.

The Scene
A quick intro that highlights the local landscape with sweeping drone shots and neighborhood details that convey the essence of the area.
The Chef
We meet the chef/owner outside their spot and chat about what makes their place so popular in the neighborhood and beyond.
The Dishes
The chef whips up their 2 most popular dishes as they tell us about their unique take on old family recipes or their motivation to innovate and break with tradition, all while showcasing beautiful visuals each step of the way.
The Reviews
Order up! We watch as the host and customers devour the featured dishes and give their honest in the moment reviews–intercut with the best online reactions.

Pinky Cole greets us outside her flagship Atlanta location, with a few of her trusted colleagues who tell us a few funny stories about Pinky. We’re then led inside where Pinky breaks down the reasons behind the “scandalous” names of each menu item.
The Dishes:
Pinky whips up her 2 most popular dishes as our host grills her about what’s in the secret sauce. Pinky skillfully changes the topic and reveals her motivation to reimagine the classic burger. She goes on to tell us what makes her so ambitious and wildly successful.

Lemel shows us around and talks about growing up in the neighborhood, which was essentially a food desert, as we make our way to his owned and operated, thriving spot, Compton Vegan.
The Dishes:
This self-taught vegan chef gets to work creating his two most popular dishes as he talks about his unique process and key ingredients that make this unlikely business a hit with locals.

They show us around the neighborhood, chatting about why they’ve become a staple to vegans and non-vegans alike and also share a little about their family’s connection to their cuisine.
The Dishes:
Chef B begins the artful process of creating her two most popular dishes. She talks more about her deep Southern roots and reveals the secret to making meals delicious enough to satisfy even the most skeptical omnivore. Spoiler alert, it’s all about the seasoning.
